Usually when I get a press release from Sanyo it's about a camcorder or other consumer electronics device, but today I got one from them announcing a bicycle. Well, an electric bicycle—which seems at least a bit up their alley.
Their new eneloop bike (they don't capitalize it either, odd) is based around their new generation of hybrid-rechargeable batteries and will be unveiled officially at 8:30am local on the 23rd. We're looking forward to seeing what one of the largest companies in the world does when it turns its attention to the subject of affordable localized transit.
